Despite having almost everything I need to start my projects, I got very little done over the weekend. Unsurprisingly, I got nostalgic and excited about an old OOP space ork miniature (commander in power armor with bolter) I got on ebay and started painting that a bit.

I used to paint AD&D miniatures back in the day but I really started getting into painting my freshman year at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. I didn't know many people and I walked by a hobby shop near campus and picked up a box of Space Orks. Ever since then I have had a soft spot for Space Orks. :P

Anyways, I'm going to feel things are finally rolling when I start airbrushing historical models instead of make-believe soldiers, if anything as a watershed point for my hobby.

My first airbrush project will be an Israeli Merkava tank, part of my diorama, "David vs. Goliath"

I need to find some IDF green paint.
